Since I was a kid, movies have always made a huge impact on me. More than just entertainment, movies became an escape to create my own reality. I began my journey into filmmaking half-way through high school and I loved every second of it. While in high school, I participated in a television production class where I developed my skills and competed in district and state levels for filmmaking. Over the course of two years and various awards,  it wasn't enough for me, so I set out to fulfill my dream.

 

In my senior year of high school, I made Full Sail University my first choice for my undergraduate degree.  This is where I developed a much stronger skill set for filmmaking. Working on student projects in and out of class, I never felt more alive than being on a production set or being in an editing suite. 

 

One component of films that I am specifically passionate about is editing. It's what keeps me up in the middle of the night thinking about a transition or how to make a story flow better. I believe that editing can and will make or break a film, and it is a process that I enjoy taking part in.

 

After graduating from Full Sail University with my Bachelor's degree in Film, I have taken my goal and transformed it into my reality. I have taken my skills and have worked as a content producer for a dance company, a freelance video editor for weddings and social media influencers, and even creating logo designs for various companies and colleagues. 

 

It has and always will be my goal to create magical and memorable moments as a filmmaker, editor, and storyteller.
